I'm a hispanic girl from CT and I have a 2.76 and 18 on the acts....not that good but I also have played a sport all 4 years AND I'm a huge part of an community service organization- I not only do work around this area (CT) but my organization travels to south america and we spend a week typically building homes or whatever they need.
ANYWAY do you think I have a shot in getting in to storrs..? :/

Unless you are being recruited for a sport, it is unlikely you would be admitted to the Storrs campus.

figured :/ well I applied EA so I guess I just have to wait and see then.
thanks though!

Wait, by any chance do you think the fact that I applied for communications as my major could make a difference because it's not as competitive as lets say nursing?

I do not think it would make a difference.

You may want to consider this: Undergraduate Transfer Admission | UConn which is related to this: ;/a>

I agree with ThePhilosopher. Being a recruited athlete is probably your only strong chance. Your ethnicity will definitely help though.
