Admissions decisions TODAY!!!

^^Aristotle fan?

Oooops- I realized I posted I was rejected on this thread. I wasn’t. I didn’t apply. Not that anyone cares…

apple888 - Of the four people I know personally who were admitted to Stanford, three are low-income and would attend on full rides. FWIW.

The Office of Undergraduate Admission works separately from the Financial Aid Office. Unless one’s low-income status is referenced within the application, it shouldn’t have an impact on the decision.

I, however, as a low-income student, applied to Stanford for free due to a fee waiver. But I honestly do not know if that is considered as an admission factor.

Cambridge Technical College…now I get it lol. I thought it was a legit college at first.

There is questbridge program where folks with less than 60k income are placed. These kids would not get admission if they apply direct since there are 20 kids with with 2100 sat. Qa program is smlilar to set aside for africans and hispanics americans where asians are using low income and below average sat but decent grades to get in.

Here is the formula;

if you are doing business, show income below the level,
get kid into school district with where not much compitition( avarage ranking is state), then take no aps, get in top 10%.

Then chase qa program, they and partner schools will chase you marketing.

What on earth are you talking about? You clearly know nothing about the QuestBridge program. QuestBridge is a special application program for low-income students, so that those students can highlight what they have accomplished and what they have experienced that their middle and upper-income counterparts have not. We certainly would receive admission if not for the QuestBridge program; the QuestBridge program ensures us only a) a Match program with a guaranteed full ride and b) a comprehensive application. 26 students were accepted this year; of the ones I know, all had SAT scores over 2100 (I had a 2250), and not all of them were African American or Hispanic. I have no idea what the QA program is.

I cannot understand a word of what you said.

I got accepted eventhough I got a 20 on my ACT, didn’t even do the SAT lol… everything is possible :)

The last three posts are exceptionally entertaining! :D

I also got in with sub-par stats, but I think I deserved it more.
