Accepted with the marquis letss goooo lafayette!!

has anyone else applied and not heard either way yet?
i live relatively close to lafayette and have not gotten a letter though 2 of my classmates have (2 days ago). I’m a little worried, not going to lie hah

i havent heard anything, and im in New Jersey. I feel like we will hear by saturday or monday, but im not really sure

i live in new jersey too and according to the woman i talked to today, the letters were sent out this morning so i’m guessing we’ll get them tomorrow or saturday.

I’m an international student from Brazil and I need to know if I have any chances with a 3.73un GPA and 32 on the ACT. I’ll also apply to Cornell, Dartmouth, Brown and Tufts.
P.S.: I need full financial aid.
Thanks!

everyone who has received their decisions—

ah wells, i visited the campus back in december and it didn’t fit the image i had in mind. hoping for good news from my other schools but congrats to anyone who gets in

Just got my letter
Do we find out if we got the Marquis with our acceptance letter or does it come later?

^ It should say so on your financial aid form ($20,000 in Merit Aid)

I got accepted as a Marquis Scholar.
1390/2130 SAT
93% GPA

Anybody that received an Accepted Letter from Lafayette - Can you see your financial aid award on line on your Lafayette Account?

what state do you guys live in?

**** them, I got waitlisted. Here are my stats:

SAT I: 1980 (640 CR, 690 M, 650 W)
SAT II: 720 Math II, 750 Biology E
ACT: 30 (33 E, 31 M, 29 R, 27 S)
Unweighted GPA: 97.27
Class Rank: 6/457
Major: Electrical Engineering

I know my test scores aren’t great and are my weakness, but they are within the range for Lafayette. I have taken the most rigorous schedule possible, and I am sixth in my class at a large competitive high school. My essays were great, my recommendations were wonderful, and I even went to an open house to show interest and learn more about Lafayette.

Also waitlisted (my 5th one)… which I wasn’t expecting. I probably should have been outright denied.

(For what its worth, I’m a Caucasian female from NJ)
SAT I was: (CR -690 M- 540 and W-690)
SAT II’s: US History (620) and Lit (580)
GPA: 3.55
Pretty good essay, and great teacher recs too.
And lots of ECs.

I truly think my interview is the reason I was waitlisted. It went really well and I clicked with my interviewer.

in! asdfghjkl;

5th waitlist as well
SAT R 510 M 720 W 590
GPA 3.86
SAT2 MATH2C 700
Good essays great recs decent ECs.

i guess its my SAT…:(

Got rejected because they “can’t offer any financial assistance.”
International here.

2nd Waitlist
SAT - 1820
GPA UW - 3.16 W - 3.26
Exceptional essay
Great job experience

It was definitely my job experience and essay that got me on the waitlist… but, i dont see how i can get into colorado college and get waitlisted here… thats weird… but i dont think ill be accepting the position on the waitlist, and i advise all of those who are not considering lafayette anymore to do the same. Good luck to all the waitlisters, i hope you end up getting in!
