Hey, I have already begun the UPenn admissions essay and the question is what I plan to do in their college, but I can’t start with a good beginning; like a hook that gets the reader going… any ideas???

Well, admissions essays(including their hooks) are very individual, so no one can really give you specific advice. I would start off by writing the body of the essay. Then you can think of an interesting introduction. Just remember to be yourself. I know that seems obvious, but there are a lot of applicants who try to emulate the student they think the university is looking for.
