Are there any schools that use AP tests actually in admissions, not just placement or for credit?

I think most schools do, actually (especially Ivies and other top schools). AP scores show initiative and a willingness to challenge yourself, as well as a dedication to academics. Also, if your AP scores are low and your grades in those AP classes are high, the college might suspect grade inflation at your school and view your grades in a slightly different light.
