Admissions Officers: How long does it take to "download" SAT scores?

I applied to 2 schools, accepted into one already (based on the Jan 27 score), but the 2nd one… They haven’t even gotten those scores yet. I asked them and they said that they are “downloading” the scores off of the ?CD? that College Board sent them? Yeah… Any day now… So how long did it take for your school to receive them?

Antonella Barba is exposed…
And bump :D

yeah, I have wondered if they are sent by a email/or alert for them to hyperlink and download, or if they are sent hardcopies by snail mail. does anyone know which is used?

Haha - are you kidding? They are all sent electronically. They usually download about once ever three weeks I want to say. They just send them in bulk. It’s not the techology that is creating that schedule, it’s collegeboard. Usually, though, they send them more often during the college admissions season.

Well… I was told by Kennesaw State University that they are in the process of “downloading” scores…and I’m pretty sure I heard her say from a CD… Well, as of now…

does not work so maybe they’re processing or something…

They’re sent a CD. You didn’t think that the college board sends them an e-mail, did you?

^ That would have made the most sense to me. Though a CD/DVD makes sense too.

Email would be too dangerous with hackers and stuff.

Hmmm… I don’t think that’s the reason. We’re able to encrypt credit card information when we send it over the net - why can’t we encrypt SAT score/personal information? I think we can.

"Need SAT or ACT Scores "
Great, site’s online, but still not “downloaded”…
