My weighted GPA out of 4 is 3.88, and out of 5 is 4.78. (My school is weird.) I took AP English and AP History last year, earned a test score of 4 and 3 respectively, played spring and winter track my freshman and sophomore years, worked my junior and senior years (had no time for sports), in many honor societies, including national, do community service for all of them and for my class. I even got to work at the TPC golf tournament in a tent serving food in early September each year. Also I got an 1880 on my SATs.

All in all though, I’m pretty sure I’m not going there since I didn’t get at all enough money and I rather not go away my first year of college even though I do like the idea of study abroad, especially in England.

I guess only time will tell what I choose in the end.

What I’m seeing here is that the admissions committee is making the application process much more holistic than in previous years, which is a good thing in my opinion.

Eric I don’t blame you, my D would not want to go away the first semester and I don’t think we would let her lol. It would be hard to make friends I would think second semester when everyone else is settled.

I would love tobe a part of tr NEUin program, do you thik i peple turn down the spots for it, they would fill it up with Waitlisted/denied students?

There has got to be a better way to release decisions. I know there’s 46,000 of them, I know a server can’t send them all out simultaneously, but on the other hand . . . there are 46,000 people, with potentially 92,000 parents, so potentially 138,000 people, DYING for this e-mail. So do you think that if they charged $1 more in application fee next year, that $46,000 could buy them a couple of servers, and/or a better system?
