Admissions Process Pooling

I read in a recent UW Daily article that admissions process pooling are separated into international, in-state, and out-of-state pools and considered in this vein for acceptance.
Though I do hold military residency in WA, and I checked in-state on my application, I still go to a Virginia HS. At first glance I may look out-of-state…

Not sure if anyone can answer my question, but I’m just wondering if I will be pooled in the more selective out-of-state pool, and that will hurt my odds, or if I’ll still be considered a Washingtonian.

It doesn’t matter what highschool you go to I believe, as long as you are considered a Washington Citizen. Don’t quote me on this though, just what I think.
