I am looking at transferring to USC for the Fall 2013 semester and I have being doing some research in the transfer for the past couple of months. From what I have read, USC looks at the individual and the numbers. Obviously have a great GPA will help you stand out, but in my case I work 50+ hours a week and have been attending night classes for the past year and a half. My current transfer GPA is at a 3.5. Once I apply, does USC take into account the fact that I work the amount of hours I do and that I have a good GPA? All of the requirements that I need to transfer will be fulfilled by the end of the Spring 2013 semester. I’m looking on trasferring to USC Dornsife for Political Science.

Yes, they will definitely take your work hours and any other extracurricular activities into consideration.
