<p>Nice article, thanks for the post! Shouldn’t the first sentence refer to the class of 2016 and not the class of 2014? I think having students involved in admissions decisions is a great idea. A big responsibility with some tough decisions to make.</p>

<p>I thought this was an important point made by a student on the admissions committee:</p>

"I personally look for some evidence of real academic or intellectual curiosity and passion for something…After my time at Wellesley as a student,” explains Rossetti. “It’s really difficult to survive here if you don’t possess those two things. It’s a very intense academic environment, and if you’re motivated only by the grade, it’s pretty difficult to survive. If you don’t have passion for something, be it academics, sports, a musical instrument or reading comic books, it’s really easy to lose yourself in this community.”
