<p>Do schools that are a lower caliber school take into account the rigor of your current university. For example if I wanted to transfer to Lehigh University or Penn State from the University of Michigan, will they recognize that a 3.1 here is a lot tougher than a 3.1 at a school equivalent to theirs?</p>
<p>In short, yes, but try to have at least a 3.5 if not higher.</p>
