Admissions to CAS

<p>Hi I’m going to be applying to CAS undecided and to I was wondering if I should include a cd of my band playing to show that I’m well rounded. I know that it seems weird but I just thought it could help differentiate me, the only things does anyone know if this is allowed</p>

<p>I’m not entirely positive, but I’m pretty sure you can submit something like that as part of an art supplement in the common app</p>

<p>I believe they will discard any materials that are not requiredfor application unless it is required by your school that you are applying for.</p>

Supplementary Materials
Unless you are applying to one of the programs that specifically requires an audition or portfolio, DVDs, CDs, the Common Application Arts Supplement, or other samples of your artistic ability are not required for admission, and will not be considered by the committee. Applicants are explicitly instructed to not submit any additional supplementary materials like books, pictures, newspaper articles, magazine articles, certificates, writing samples, etc. Regretfully, these materials will be discarded upon arrival.
