Hi! I’m a junior, going to be a senior, and I’m hoping that I might be able to get accepted into Northwestern University.

My first semester cumulative GPA was a 3.65 and my second semester cumulative GPA was a 3.73. I did score a 27 on my ACT but I can definitely bring that up to around a 31 or 32 if I study hard enough. I know that I could get great letters of recommendations from my teachers. My extracurricular activities include the newspaper, school play/musical, art club and green team. Oh! And I was accepted into the Writing Institute at Washington University for this summer. It’s like a creative writing program for high school students.

So how does that sound to everyone? Sound possible?

If not, there are plenty of other schools I’m considering: Oberlin College sounds like a great fit for me, Reed College, Knox College and Macalester College. Lots of liberal arts colleges.
