Admissions to students from virtual schools

what is the university’s take on students who have been virtually schooled for their junior and senior years-does it harm their chance at admissions or are they considered at par with students from brick and mortar schools?

I can imagine that academically, they can be on par. But they face the hurdles of other homeschooled applicants – how do you shoe greater potential in terms of ECs, leadership, involvment, etc.?

I have got the following ec’s- writing competitions, tennis tournaments, a published book, a blog and virtual shcools have got clubs that I am a part of. Engagement in terms of community service can be external and independent of the school or instituition. Although I am still worried about ways to exhibit leadership… thanks for your reply though
