Hello, I was wondering if someone knew what the admissions requirements/application process would be for Depaul University in Chicago.
Thanks!

Like SAT scores, GPA’s and extras
Many school’s publish a common data set to answer this exact question. Looking at Depaul’s (https://irma.depaul.edu/cds/2014/2014CDS_c.pdf), we can see:
-About 70% of applicants were offered admission
-The 25th percentile/75th percentile Reading SAT scores are 520/640
-The 25th percentile/75th percentile Math SAT scores are 510/630
-The 25th percentile/75th percentile Composite ACT scores are 23/28
-Most (86%) students were in the top half of their high school class (see section C10)
-Most (76%) students had above a 3.25 GPA out of 4.0 (see sectoin C11)
If you have at least a 3.75 and your scores are above DePaul’s 75th percentile, I’d guess you’re virtually assured admission. If you have at least a 3.5 and your scores are within DePaul’s 25th-75th percentiles, DePaul is a match school and you may or may not get in. If your scores and grades are worse than that, DePaul is a reach. DePaul is test optional, however, so may choose to not send your scores if your GPA is stronger and you don’t think your scores will help.
You can apply either through DePaul’s own system or the Common App. You must pay an application fee of $25 unless it is waived. You can find details of the process and deadlines here: http://www.depaul.edu/admission-and-aid/types-of-admission/freshman-student/Pages/admission-process.aspx
Be aware that DePaul is expensive. You should talk to your parents about whether you can afford it (You can see fees here, from tuition to general fees to dining to housing: http://offices.depaul.edu/student-financial-accounts/cost-of-attendance/Pages/default.aspx). You can use the net price calculator to estimate how much financial aid you will receive (https://depaul.studentaidcalculator.com/survey.aspx).
Good luck.
@YogSothoth has done you a great favor – guiding you on how to view the CDS info. You asked the same question the day before on another college where that poster said to look at the CDS. You should google further schools’ CDS forms and be able to see your relative chances for yourself by viewing each schools’ CDS, section C.
