So I recently got accented into FSU, but now my admission is under review for failing to report class grades under a C. I explained in my statement that it was a mistake; I thought that when I retook a failed course it would be removed from my transcripts which was not the case. All the failed classes were from my underclassmen years, the core ones were re done and I received all As in them. I also explained why I got the grades and that I didn’t mean to “hide” them as I am proud of my growth but am still worried about them revoking my admission. What do you guys think.
You completed FSU’s SSAR as part of the application process, correct?
If so you would have had a copy of your transcript with you to do that…not sure how else one could complete the SSAR without the transcript. And…FSU’s SSAR directions are clear about reporting all courses and all grades, exactly as shown on the transcript.

Regardless, I do hope things work out for you.
Edit - I see I was writing at the same time of @Mwfan1921 - so repeating their words.
I think it depends on the school policy.
You needed to follow whatever the school policy is.
In the end, it’s what do they think.
Why wouldn’t you have included it in your SSAR? I’m not sure there’s a legitimate excuse you can provide for that.
Good luck to you.
Hope they are lenient as kids do make mistakes. As far as their instructions go they are very clear …
Have you heard back from FSU yet? Good luck. If there’s some reason they don’t let you start (hopefully the situation can be resolved!), do you have a backup plan?
