so what would I need to score on the lsat to get into HYS law or say a T14 with these stats?
Does anyone have any advise, or ideas to improve my chances?

I’m also considering studying abroad

thanks for any replies.

Probably not getting into HYS with a 3.6. With a 3.7, you’e need a 175+ for a chance at H.

170+ for a good T14 shot.

Thanks for the reply, ok so I’ve heard that if your studying something like EE, then you get a break… is that true, plus how do ecs effect your chances into harvard? are they irrelevant?

Engineering helps, but not to the degree you’re looking for.

ECs help, but it depends on the quality. Typical UG ECs only give a minor boost.

so what types of ec’s boost your resume?

Nothing that you can do at UT, probably (minor boosts do come from leadership in clubs and substantive work experience).

FH is probably right. If you’re applying to HYS with a 3.6, there are no majors or EC’s that will help you enough to get you in. A 3.7/Engineering is borderline.

The good news is that the T14 is well within range for you, pending LSAT score.
