Admit in Texas A &M-Kingsville

Hello everyone,
I have been offered a scholarship to pursue MS in natural gas engineering in Texas A &M Kingsville.Should I go ahead and pursue it?(its tuition fee is really low)Any ideas about the program quality, the teaching and job prospectives? Also The program is not ABET accredited.

Thankyou.

Ask the program to put you in contact with some recent graduates and see what they have to say. Also, it shouldn’t be too hard to find people in companies between Corpus, San Antonio, and Houston who would be willing to do an information interview where you can ask them about their profession, the outlook, and what they think of the program. Total strangers can be very willing to talk to you about their jobs if you just ask.

…Thankyou

If you search ABET, not many masters programs are accredited. TAMUK has a pretty good college of engineering, and a long heritage in natural gas engineering. Students get recruited by oil & gas companies (exxon, valero, haliburton, schlumberger, NOV, etc.) and chemical companies (celanese and others).
