admit without FA

I know that some schools will not admit a student when they cannot meet their demonstrated financial need. They will either reject or waitlist since admit without FA is essentially a denial.

Other schools, will admit a student and either deny FA or put them on a FA waitlist. Looking at the master list, it seems that the following schools admit without FA:

Loomis
L’ville
Emma Willard
NMH

I am interested in what other schools do this. Since online notifications do not include FA information, it would be nice to know ahead of time so we can appropriately curb any enthusiasm until FA is known.

When my son was admitted to NMH without fa, they contacted me first to see if I wanted them to let my son know he was admitted. They felt bad and really wanted him to be able to attend. They encouraged him to reapply for the following year. He did and received all the aid he needed.

I guess that any school that doesn’t say they garantee to meet the demonstrated need of their admitted students can theoretically offer admission without FA or with FA waitlisted.

If I may say, neato, you are worrying too much. Based on what I’ve gathered about your son and the schools you have applied to, I think you will be fine. Take my words and sleep well  - what else can you do anyway?
