<p>I have a friend who was just admitted yesterday (as a freshman for fall '08). Isn’t this a little early? She’s an easy admit, but probably not on the regents level or anything.</p>
<p>How did she find out?</p>
<p>Although students might have been guaranteed Admissions, like ELC students, we have not made any admissions decisions for Fall 2008 yet.</p>
<p>She said she got a package with “Congratulations, you have been admitted…” inside. She’s not the ultra-competitive type that would lie or anything. Said she got one from Irvine and UCR as well. (I asked her about ELC, and she said it was not that-I don’t believe she even qualifies for it).</p>
<p>UCD: When are regents scholars announced/contacted?</p>
<p>That’s interesting considering they haven’t released anything yet…</p>
