admitted/deferred/denied percentages

If I am correct, if one adds up the percentages given by the information on the website, 16.5 (admitted) + 42.9 (deferred) + 38.4 (denied) equals 97.8 total percent. What about the other 2.2%?

p.s. I was a “lurker”, but now I’m hooked. I was deferred, but am actually pretty relieved with that decision.

maybe incomplete applications? if an application is incomplete they’ll just throw it into the regular pool…

that makes sense…but doesn’t it seem that approx. 86 (.022 * 3931) incomplete applications is a relatively high number?

It’s probably pretty easy to have incomplete applications, especially w/ lost teacher recommendations. Some teachers send it out themselves, and it’s difficult to check.
