I genuinely doubt that they’ll cancel your score because of the gap between scores… if they think your “IQ” retrogrades, I really will laugh out.

^dragoon998 I think you’re right, and I think SAT/ACT also know this so they won’t think students were CHEATING without evident proof.

Yeah they said they will send letter about that in few weeks…hopefully cancellation of score won’t affect my admission decision to uiuc

Wait your response makes no sense. The others are talking about how, based on what you have told us, we would be very surprised if your test was cancelled. But you seem convinced that your score will be cancelled. Are the suspecting you of cheating? And from what I can tell, your score when up. You were able to send it in, and then they cancelled it. So you had to send an older score in?
Does that mean the difference between your sent score, the 34, and the old score, the 26, was too large? That makes it seem even more unlikely that they would cancel. If it was a new test after the 34 it makes a little bit of sense, but still seems unlikely.

I think you really should call the ACT official to understand the entire process. If that’s the reason, I’ll say you should appeal. I find your reason extremely implausible to me…

wow lol… a gap like 26 to 34 on the ACT is like a 1700 to 2250 on the SAT…

Yep lol I am Asian…hopefully it won’t affect my admission decision since they need money…

I think no one in this thread can give you any actual help on this problem… you really should try to get a clear answer from ACT.
