<p>Just noticed this thread after reviewing OP’s essays earlier this week. I’m sure he has lots of feedback. That said, I’m somewhat surprised he didn’t apply to Pitt if he’s looking for merit aid and a guaranteed med school program. That would have been a good option.</p>
<p>I have worked with some great students on CC. Most of them have thanked me for my time, and some even let me know when they have been accepted to schools. The one I remember most vividly was a PM on mother’s day to let me know he was accepted off the WL of his dream school.</p>
<p>I agree oldfort, and am glad I’m not alone in thinking some acknowledgement is appropriate. OP, the vast majority of us are <gasp> busy with work or school and quite possibly our own children. Oh, and the holidays. In looking at my PMs, most folks I’ve shared information with privately have been very, very quick to respond.</gasp></p>
