So I was admitted into Case Western Reserve University a few days ago. They have sent me the whole acceptance package and everything.

Tonight, I remembered that Case had sent me an email in February requesting me to send in official test scores ( I only took the ACT). I wasn’t seriously considering going to Case, I applied because there was no fee, so I didn’t bother sending in my scores and called it a day.

I’m confused as to how they admitted me without having my ACT scores. I checked my ACT account to see which schools I sent the scores to, and Case was definitely not one of them. My guidance counselor would have told me if she had them sent in or something like that.

i applied to case because it was free, but shortly after i changed my mind, so i didn’t send them my ACT/SAT scores or high school transcript because i didn’t want to spend extra money applying to a school that i probably wouldnt go to. the only information that they were sent was the stuff on my common app, like my essays and my school report (which includes my class rank and weighted GPA).

i received my acceptance package yesterday, and i have no clue how this is possible because they don’t have my scores or my transcript, lol…

Whether or not you are now interested in attending Case, have your guidance counselor give them a call. It is possible that the Case computer system is sending out the wrong emails. This has happened in the past with other universities.
