Hello everyone. Recently I found out that I was accepted to sac state university. Once finding this out I found out from my community college that I will be short 6 elective units, which will put me at 54 transferable units. The counselors at my school have looked over my educational plan and I meet with a counselor 3 times a semester and no one caught this. They have owned up to the mistake that has happened, but my question is will my admissions be revoked because of something that was not my fault? Thank you
No one here can answer your question. Contact your advisers at your CC and admins at Sacramento. Unfortunately, sometimes errors do happen, and yes, sometimes it’s the student who pays the price.
Do you have the opportunity to make up missing credits. Know if this possible when you call. What should you do according to admissiions. Do not lean on how counselor error messed up your application. Remember you took the classes, received grade reports that showed hours earned. You also can count. Hope it works out.
