Admssion with a dropped subject?

I am a future student looking to go to York next year.
I have a question that I’ve been asking my guidance counselors in high school to answer, but I don’t know if they have the right information about it.
I’m hoping someone can answer it
I want to get into English and history, but this year I took a biology course that I’m not doing very well in.
If i decide to drop that course, will the university frown upon my decision? It will be displayed in my transcripts and I’m wondering if that could jeopardize my chances of getting into university. I have high 80’s in all my other subjects and it’s just biology that I’m having a hard time with.
Please answer!

Really, your guidance counselor is the best person to answer this one. We don’t know your high school, and we don’t know whether students from your high school regularly are admitted at that particular college.

When you meet with your counselor again, talk about the kind of grade you are likely to get in the Biology class. Maybe you won’t need to drop it after all.
