Adult Student ACT+ College Credit

Hi, My name is Adam Corcoran. I’m 23 years old. I attended college full time about 5 years ago, but didn’t not focus my studies. I ended up, dropping out, and joining the work force. I’'ve recently enrolled in college again, and looking for away to obtain scholarships.

While I’ve joined Fastweb and other sites, I was wondering if anyone had any Idea if retaking the ACT would be a wise idea?

I originally got a 28 on it, but felt i could have done alot better, but with previous ways of afford college and settling for a state school, i didn’t find it a problem.

Now going back to school with my own money, I’m looking for every opportunity to raise my chances at scholarships.

I orginally had 22 College Hours 5 Years ago while at school. My GPA at the time was a 2.4 (or something similar).

Since I’ve been back, i have 12 Hours all A’s, which brings me up to almost a 3.0.

Would retaking for a chance at a better school help me? or does me having college credit already put me SOL?
