Advanced Standing...Master's? Worth it?

<p>Someone else posted about getting an AB/AM as a prospective premed. What about students who are not pre-med?</p>

<p>I’m thinking about a job in finance…would getting a Master’s in Applied Math or Statistics be beneficial above just an AB in Econ? Would this be good prep for grad school in Econ?</p>

<p>Um, I don’t think I would consider a Master’s “Prep” for another field. You probably won’t be successful in advanced standing if you don’t really like what your working in. That the impression I get from the Harvard site.</p>
