What are the advantages of those? Can I just perform community service at my Boy Scouts, and after school clubs, i.e. Key Club, and get the awards? And will those hours be taken seriously? Or is it better if I perform some hours teaching kids to read? So if I aim for the Presidential award and a school community award, will that be okay to get into Harvard for community service? Will Harvard think that I am active w/ the community?
