<p>A couple indirect advantages. May MCAT takers might have to cope with finals during MCAT student time, might potentially see a very slight (and unimportant) delay in their applications.</p>
<p>So far as I can tell, the only real difference is that it’s easier to pick which schools to apply to if you know your score already – but that’s not that big a deal, either.</p>
