<p>I’m definitely going to SC next year but I’m trying to decide whether or not I should rush first semester. I know that it is POSSIBLE to rush in the Spring, I just want to know if there are any big disadvantages to it. </p>

<p>No real disadvantages, all fraternities take spring pledges. I would definitely rush in the fall, to get to know people and stuff. But you don’t have to accept a bid.</p>
<p>is it harder to get to know people and make friends? I’m from Brazil and I’m applying to USC but I’m gonna have to start in the spring, is it very different? Thanks</p>
