The benefits to single sex education primarily go to women. I looked into this when my daughter was starting high school. It’s been established that females tend to be marginalized in a mixed classroom. And at the collegiate level, I’d bet that this is especially true in the “male dominated majors”, such as math, science, and engineering. Where I live, my profession is male dominated, and it’s pretty obvious that the males that I interviewed with out of school believed that I belong in the kitchen. That’s why I work for myself now!
