advertising major?

<p>I want to major in advertising and I’m a high school in junior. I’ve never gotten a C in my life until this year for Advanced Math Honors and I’m devestated since I got a B last semester and a high C+ this semester.
Does advertising revolve around mathematical skills?</p>

<p>Also will I have a chance for schools like U of I, U of Texas Austin, Vanderbilt, Carnegie Mellon, WashU in St Louis and U of Miami because of my one C? :(</p>

<p>You will not use any advanced math skills in advertising unless you become a senior level analyst. Most likely you will need to focus on business, computer, communication, writing, and soft people skills.</p>
