<p>A friend’s daughter was admitted to her first-choice SUNY as a spring admit. The question is, what to do in the fall semester? I guess she can 1) take classes at a local community college 2) find a job and work to save up money 3) do volunteer work. Is there anything I’m overlooking?</p>
<p>For instance, can she try to get the SUNY to admit her for fall 08 and enroll at another school for a year? That would avoid the disruption of starting at the SUNY in the spring, after friendships have already been formed.</p>
<p>Any advice would be appreciated!</p>
