Understand that this is my first post
I need help I’m 17 years old white male (for all you racist people), and I’ve stopes going to school sense I was 12 years old. Not because I don’t like school but cuz it closed because of money, and while I was looking for another school my mother got laid off (and she’s devorced) so I couldn’t go to school cuz of money then she got hired again and I got some books then she got laid of again! by then I teached myself up to the 7th grade then a month later she found another job then she got laid of 2 week later!!! sadly that was the last time she would be hired by that time I was around 14 or 15 between that Time and now would be an even longer story but anyways I’ve wanted to go to college but never realy knew how to but recently my grandfather noticed how I wanted an education for a better future, and he knew how it felt cuz he also had to stop going to school at 12 years old to so he asked how much is your books and I said I have no idea so he gave 40$ and I bought a book I think it was elementry school math for teachers lol by cliffs note (I hate those terrible book) then the next week he gave me another 40$ so I got another book pretty soon I taught myself up to algebra 2 now I’m teaching myself calculus with analytic geometry by Ron Larson (great book) and physics by resnick & holliday (also a great book)
for Ap courses and other books for other courses and I’ve learned guitar (and yes I can shred) and learning other arts and I’m planning on trying to get into the isnf (international sience and engineering fair) cuz I have some interesting things I developed involving Graphene and photons and other stuff but to make a long story shorter lol I want to try to go to college but I don’t know how to go about it cuz I have no record what so ever of anything I have learned sense 12 years old do note money is VERY tight and the records I do have from 12 years old says I was a straight a student but colleges don’t care about that as much as your highschool transcript I want to go to a good college preferably MIT but I hafe to think realisticly and not be picky cuz it’s not wher you go that defines hue you are it’s what you came from and hue you are that defines where you go.
cuz my grandfather only has a GED and he’s as smart as an engineer and makes 48$ an hour but nowdays college is needed so if you have any advice on what I should do to get into a good college tell me (NOW!!) lol

Lol sorry for the typo’s

Also if anbody that got into a good college tell me what was your profile cuz realy I’m not the only wone wondering

May offer some advice? I never read your first post. It’s a pile of run on sentences that are practically incomprehensible. It would take a very very patient and very helpful person to plow through that and then turn around and give you useful advice. Can you please repost – and use punctuation and sentences and paragraph formatting?

That’s the nature of online fora. People ask questions – they don’t need to be short. But they need to be readable and understandable quickly. Otherwise, you’ll just continue to get people who look at your post – read two lines – and then the click away – too bothered to endure your long rambling post.

Without that, I don’t think you’ll get any replies to your actual questions – whatever they might be.

Don’t worry! Your story is so inspiring and made me cry and it’ll probably make the admissions committees at schools like MIT and Ivy Leagues cry too! You’re a shoo-in definitely.

Thanks

everything i’ve Been through has both made me take life more serious, and made me more determind.

but it also took some years of my life I’ll never get back but as I like to say stars shine the most in darkness.
(With a little less cheeseness)

U shouldn’t have added the “cheeseness” it was a great post bee 4 that
