Is there any way to talk to current Cornell students about their application process? I would love to talk to someone who has gone through everything and has some tips on getting in. Maybe there’s some kind of group on campus that opens themselves up for questions? (and I don’t want to talk to people in the admissions office… they always say the same old stuff )

You’ve posted the same question on several Ivy fora. Although successful, the admitted students don’t have an inside special knowledge that doesn’t exist with parents and alums who frequent CC. I’d posit that a 30 year old alum, active in recruiting HS students – would be more useful to you than asking a Cornell Freshman.

Indeed, speaking to individuals, who can only attest to their own specific application journey – isn’t very useful as their circumstances can veer greatly from yours. Frankly, you should read topics on the various fora for advice and knowledge.
