Advice needed about crucial spelling mistake on already submitted essay

Hello, I submitted my essay to Stanford a few days ago. On an essay asking to write a letter to your future roommate, I misspelled straddle. I was saying “don’t pay any mind to me when I’m reading while in a stratle on the bedroom floor. I’m a dancer, so it’s important that I maintain my flexibility.”

(Although I had proofread my essay several times, I truly thought straddle was spelled stratle until my friend pointed it out today…)

I think it looks bad, because if dancing is important to me, I should have known how to spell this. Should I email the admissions to change it? Or do you think it’s not that big of a deal?

Many thanks.

Is there some reason spell check wasn’t working for you?

I was typing in Microsoft Word, but I don’t know why it didn’t underline that word in red.
