I am taking my ACT in December. My PLAN test that I took in October gave a prediction of 28-32. I want to at least have a 33 on my ACT (I realize that I may have to retake it) for scholarships (as I want to attend Tulane). How accurate is the PLAN test and any advice on taking the ACT seeing as most of my mistakes (except on math) were careless. Thanks :)

EDIT: On a side-note, how quickly can you expect to receive your scores online?

Accuracy of the PLAN largely depends on how much you studied before it and how much you plan to study for the ACT. My score predicted mine fairly well (considering I got a 33 though, they just estimated 33-36).

Scores come online within a few weeks of the test.

Well, I didn’t really study for the PLAN… and I was sick when I took it. I know that the ones I missed on everything except math were mostly careless mistakes. I am probably going to take one of the practice tests (at least) before hand.
