I was denied for UCB class of 2012 unfortunately. I don’t quite know what to write in my Letter of Appeal. I’m not sure, if it’s necessary to post my credentials, so I won’t. I know that it is required that I, as a applicant, present new and compelling information that was not included in my application…The only issue is that I have absolutely no idea what I should write about.

These are the suggestions I am going to maybe incorporate:

–My mother’s laying off in 2009 and lack of a career since

–I have had to assist in household duties and monetarily to support our family

–I have had steady ‘A’ grades since I began high school.<—This doesn’t count as new does it?

–I have co-started and run a student owned coffee shop, operating off of a grant we received 4 years in a row. I am passing the torch down to another generation (Generation# 3) [Gen1 operated out of the school lobby, Gen 2 (my group) rented a building for our operation which we have maintained since we got it.]
