<p>im a first semester freshman dorming in Stony Brook but i really dont like the experience at all, i dont like dorming and having barely any privacy at all and i dont like this suburban location either.</p>
<p>And my other problem is that i have NO IDEA at all what i want to do in life. I’ve thought about business, financing, biochemistry, dentistry, and even something in the arts.</p>
<p>im constantly worrying about my future…</p>
<p>So i was wondering if i should:
- transfer out of here next semester and go to a cuny which would save money due to the fact that i dont even know what to major in yet.
or - Stay at stony brook but commute allll the way from brooklyn but spend the time on the train studying. This would be good if i do want to pursue something medical because stony brook is very good for that</p>
<p>dorming again next semester is out of the question, i would never dorm here again after this </p>
<p>what are the pros and cons for commuting here and for transferring to a cuny?
and what would be your ultimate decision in the end?</p>
