My little brother got accepted in University of California San Diego, Virginia Tech and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology all in computer science course.
The yearly cost of each (rounded off and includes boarding expense + other misc expenses stated on the uni websites)
UCSD- 60k$
Virginia- 45k$
HKUST- 21k$
My brother wants to be a software developer. We are from India and do not have in-depth info regarding universities outside. Ranking wise we saw hkust being the best option and cost wise it also makes it more attractive. But rankings are quite subjective differing from list to list and cost of attendance in UCSD and Viriginia is also manageable hence I’d like to get some opinions here.
Based on curriculum, job opportunities, uni housing conditions, food (vegetarian) and environment (both student and outside) which would you suggest?
