U Dayton has gotten very expensive. My S24 from KY with 4.0/13 AP classes got a very good merit offer from them, in their CS program, but in my head I think it was still close to 50K a year.
He also got into Colorado School of Mines in their CS program but it would also be right below 50K with maximum out of state merit.
You can’t go wrong with Purdue, if he can get in. We’ve had NMF get dinged from Purdue in CS in the last 2 admission cycles from our private high school.
I’m sure you have both Xavier and UCincy on your list (I think you mentioned Cincinnati).
If you are looking at Ohio State check out Denison - that is where my S24 ended up applying ED so he pulled all his outstanding apps.
If you can figure out a CSS school, that will be helpful when you have 2 in college as most are taking into consideration multiples in college.
