Advice: What to do after deferred. Thx

I know many people have been deferred on this board and are trying to move on. I just found out that from Vancouver this year… only one girl got in as a recruited athlete… those hardcore feeder school that usually get 60% acceptance rate to princeton with major legacies didnt get anyone in… so i am feeling a bit better knowing that it’s just a tough year for Cdns…

I heard that Princeton was cutting down on the num of ED admits this year… but then again, they will receive more applicants with common/online app… what would you suggest the deferred students to do? For new stats, awards, achievements, should we mail it in or email it?

Any general advice would be helpful…

For me personally… i am already sending in a new SAT score from Jan administration…

Certainly not, pw - Rapelye even said they were willing to cross over the 50% mark if needed.

dont give up. Write a WHY princeton essay and send in another rec. + look over your app to see if you left anything out

mercurysquad,

when my friend visited in the summer, the associate dean said this year’s ED will change a bit… and that they are working to admit less than 50% of the class…

are you guys going to send more recs? do you think pton will actually look at them?
