Hi! I would really appreciate if you would proofread my essay, and give ANY suggestions that would improve it, even its its just grammatical, or sentence fluency.

Write an Essay on this topic: How my Career Pathway Program (AOIT) is preparing my for college and my career field (Networking).

Up until 8th grade, there used to be a question that I hated to hear: What do you want to be when you grow up? I would always answer with the same: I dont know. Back then, classes in Middle School were interesting, but I didnt find anything I wanted to commit to for the rest of my life.
Then, one day, I made a decision that turned the tables. My science teacher introduced the Academy of Information Technology program to me and asked if I was willing to join. Sure, I thought, computers are pretty interesting, and I enjoyed fixing my computer when it broke. I nonchalantly decided to accept, enrolling in the Networking pathway.
Freshman year rolled around, and I started my first AOIT course, Programming 1. I instantly felt a motivation to learn; to be able to create whatever I wanted at the tip of my fingertips was fascinating. But the next classes in my pathway were Microcomputer Technologies, and Network Engineering. While I was reluctant to leave programming, I was still excited to enter a world of new possibilities, and I promised myself I would take AP Computer Science when I had the time.
Before I knew it, my sophomore and junior year flew by, while I slowly checked off the requirements of the AOIT program one by one. There seemed to be dozens of requirements, from studying for certifications to dressing up for mock interviews to applying for internships to participating in fundraisers. It was no surprise that it was daunting thinking about finishing them all.
However, little did I know that each step of the way to graduate in the AOIT program, was a step towards preparing me for college. Each internship application I filled out taught me the importance of time management. Each fundraising activity I participated in strengthened my teamwork ability. Each certification I laboriously studied for showed me the value of hard work. And most importantly of all, each AOIT class has intensified my passion for a career in technology.
Now, when I think back to 8th grade, I wonder what would have happened if I had not joined the AOIT program. I really did not know where I was going until this program guided me, helping me find my true interests, and giving me the opportunities to enrich them through internships and college classes. This experience has led me to choose networking as the career field I want to pursue, and even if networking is not career I will end up in, I have learned a sundry of valuable lessons that will help me for the rest of my life. Because now, I can confidently answer, Well, networking is a lot of fun
