This is my first discussion so please excuse me if I don’t do things right ,but I am a sophomore in the fall aspiring to become a mechanical engineer after graduation. Any advice from college students or actual engineers will help. Any information on classes in high school to take or the minors offered at MSU would be appreciated. Thanks, I plan to attend Mississippi State in 2018.
Welcome to CC! If you ask specific questions it’s much more likely you’ll get a response.
Thanks @eyemgh!!
Having the best foundation you can get in hs in physics and calculus is helpful. I don’t know about MSU specifically but doing well in AP Chem can might get you out of the Chem requirement. As for the math and physics many students retake them even with strong AP scores but either way taking these classes will help you be better prepared.
Very appreciated @spectrum2
