<p>There isn’t a ton of aerospace in the northeast in general, let alone in upstate New York. Aerospace companies tend to agglomerate in very specific regions. There are outliers, but they all tend to flock to those few hotbeds.</p>
<p>Check the General Electric website (employment or college relations). I believe that they have aerospace facilities somewhere in upstate New York. By the way, have your contacted the Career Placement Office at your engineering school/college?</p>
<p>One of their main research centers is in Schenectady, NY, but how much of it is aerospace related I don’t know. It also would be very tough to get into.</p>
<p>Yea I probably should’ve thought about this before choosing my major.</p>
<p>Or you should do the major you want and branch out of your geographic comfort zone a bit.</p>
