Aerospace to Biomechanical?

I’m a 3rd year Aero major and in the process of deciding what courses to take next semester. I was wondering if its plausible to slowly transition into Biomech for grad school. I know if I were to get into Biomech for grad school, it would be (hopefully) in Bio-Fluids (since I find fluid mechanics to be one of the more interesting Engineering topics). The class I was thinking about taking is Microfluids/ BioMEMS – there is a Biofluids class but it isn’t offered for like another 1.5 years.

Biofluids is basically blood and what concerns me is I basically have no background in chemistry or biology. I was required to take Chem 1 as a freshmen, but that’s about it. Time doesn’t permit me to take chem classes.

So my question is basically, is it worth it to try and pursue biomech/biofluids if I have practically no background in chem/biology?
