These girls can have everything in the world yet their parents are pressuring them into motherhood!
These girls shouldn’t be pressured to be a mother or career woman. They should be free to find out what they want to do in life and pursue their dreams!
Fortunately, my parents do not pressure me and respect my hopes and dreams! They also give me what I want!
When I was young I wanted to travel the world, rise up through the ranks of an multinational corporation, and be with as many men as I wanted to.
Perhaps I should be grateful as this will mean less competition for me!
If I ever meet some of these rich New York mothers I will not hesitate to rub my happiness, success, wealth, and love life in their face!
Before regular CC’s start posting, read the article (I don’t always do). There is nothing in the article about those girls’ parents pressuring them into motherhood. It is not an interesting article, just about “rich young girls” going to camps.
It was one person’s experience as a camp counselor in a camp where the young girls came from financially well off backgrounds.
No where did I read of anyone being " pressured to be a mother or career woman."
I read of young girls and a counselor both of whom learned a little of the kind of life that others live. That’s all.
As to this: “If I ever meet some of these rich New York mothers I will not hesitate to rub my happiness, success, wealth, and love life in their face!”-- how unkind. Those moms, like most moms, are trying to do right by their kids.
MODERATOR’S NOTE:
I sometimes close threads when they go off the rails. This one sets there record for having gone off the rails with the initial post. The thread title and lack of synergy between the OP and the article leads me to believe that this thread is little more than clickbait.
