<p>Like many of you, I joined this site a few years hoping that I could gain insight on how to get into the nations “top” school…Now that I am finishing college and I return to this site I wonder why I bothered to worry and scrap to get into these said “top” schools. I ended up attending a smaller state type school and currently finishing up my medical related degree. Surprisingly enough, after interviewing and talking with many people in Fortune 500 companies no one really cares about where you got your degree. All that matters is that you have that piece of paper. Many of my fellow classmates have already been offered lucrative financial firm jobs even after attending this lesser-known school. Just to some my rambling up, I urge people on here to honestly take a look at their goals and not focus on getting into some hyped up school. Remember you have four years of work and fun to deal with first before you can even think about success post-college.
