A freshman decides to transfer next year after attending one month… is it rare?
The thought is common. The reality is rare.
In order to transfer you need good grades and on campus involvement. Both tend to lead to satisfaction and thus less need to leave. If you do both and still want to leave, you need to have specific reasons. Prestige can’t be one of them.
A common reason is that you attend a private or OOS public university, can’t afford it anymore, and must go back to an instate university or cc.
